Landscape as architecture
by Jose F Costa

We incorporate the surrounding nature as an extension of our body and the way we transform and enjoy the space available it is always conditioned to the space itself. I have this notion of landscape as a pre-construction. We can find structures that obey to some geometry or simple abstractions, depending on our perspective. It is possible, being out there in nature, to find that those structures have an inside and an outside. All depends on the distance that we are from each structure. Suddenly, we are inside something, a forest, a pathway, under a tree, on the top of a mountain.
